The throw that concerns me was
the "over the shoulder - no look" pass out to the flat to get rid of the ball. could have easily been 6 the other way

Logic would dictate that all the returning talent and
a decent bowl performance that seemingly looked like our Offensive minds were getting on the same page would have translated to a pretty big upside this season. Even if we throw the Vandy game out the window, there are still some head scratchers. There were signs vs. ODU that its coming back together, but the jury is still out and Rutgers will be telling.

They are taking the page out of the PIAA playbook Catholic schools
Furthermore, its my understanding that VHSL requires "self-reporting" when it comes to the Roster and where the athletes reside or claim to reside. I have heard from more than a handful of VHSL coaches that Freedom is the best at this grey area practice.

The use of Drones reminds me of how we tried to use QP...until we didnt.

Based on the rule this year about "full weight driving into the ground"
Its hard to make that determination at full speed by the Official. Implementing review for that call will make a difference, especially in last night's case. Would it still have been roughing w/Tom Brady? Who knows.... probably not.

When they resurfaced the field years ago, wasnt the capability installed to handle some astronomical rain rates? Like 2 to 3 inches every 30 minutes?

The talent WILL come to Blacksburg. We simply ignored the 4/5 stars in our own backyard, but we were pounding pavement in TX where kids probably had no interest in coming to Blacksburg, VA.

I agree with all your sentiments. But, if "fans" are ready to dump the team after one game under a new regime that started from Zero, then they aren't true Hokies IMHO. Plain and simple.
