"The VT fees are the lowest in the Commonwealth by a large margin." I believe VT is the only school in the Commonwealth that charges students for tickets/admission to football games.

Great Report - Thank you. "Fund raising, marketing and promotion increased $12.6 million. There was no explanation for the reason for this significant increase." I wonder if we are seeing a benefit from this? $12.6 million is a bunch. Development takes what, 10% ? So expect to see a $126 million bump? ? ? Nice $18.4 million gift to Athletics!!! "The athletic debt decreased by $23.3 million, most of which was the removal of the new dorm debt of $18.4 million"

We’re still paying off the south end zone expansion? That was completed in 2002 I believe. Crazy

Randy, I remember the good old days in Charlottesville when the Hokies would meet each month . Now, sad to say, I can't remember the last time there was an event for the Hokies in Lynchburg.

Charlottesville still has the monthly social meetings. How much longer is to be determined.

I believe this is the 1st time our overall income was larger than UVA?
wwhokie1 June 15, 2026 at 6:47 PM

First time I recall our revenue exceeding that of UVA. Same true for contributions.

Good stuff, Randy. The increase in fundraising, marketing, and promotion really caught my eye. I'm surprised they didn't provide an explanation for it.
