Joe Lunardi is a gas bag who somehow managed to turn his personal speculation into a marketable product. He is only rival for “worst ESPN employee” is Heather Dinich.

Your fallacy is giving any credence to Joe Lunardi’s bracket. Case in point 16-15 Auburn is in. Every E$ECPN employee, that is not specifically covering the ACC, is a shill for the SEC

Well, ESPN does embrace and care about ACC basketball, even if we're not a part of the powers that be in the ACC. And if we take care of business against Wake Forest and Clemson, we'll have a chance against one of the powers that be again who are down their best player.

Just to go off on a tangent could "a terribly weak bubble" be a result of NIL etc? That is, half the field is "them that gets it ... gots"? while that necessarily implies that a lot of schools can't play the game and perhaps that dropoff occurs before one starts seeding the bubble teams. Of course if it happnes once then it's a statistical anomily, if it starts happening more often would be evidence of a more tilted talent distribution.

and as a side note ESPN put out an article yesterday suggesting upsets will be more unlikely this year b/c of NIL. I'll suggest he's saying the same thing.

Would like to see the team win 2 games and get a NCAA bid but I just don't think they will. Really ruff year.
