   Our receivers last year were lucky to find the ball coming their way. On definite passing downs Drones had maybe 2 seconds to get the ball out. And in most of those cases the play never developed or a quick (very quick) out had to be available. I think there are good receivers, and with a line capable of giving the QB 3.5 sec (not even 4) to get the ball out we should see more production AND see how good the receivers are. Plus, a running game that would give the team a 2nd & 3, 3rd & 2, there are a lot more options in the passing game. Before we state who is good and who is bad and they can't catch or they can't separate let's see what the QB, O Line and running game does to the offense. GO HOKIES!!!

      Possibly to clean up a couple lingering issues. Hopefully, he either gets healthy via rest/correct fitness regime or recovers quickly if he does go under the knife

   You've mentioned it a few times, but I don't think the player position decisions made when Pry was the head coach would necessarily be the same with Pry as DC. He probably allowed his position coaches and coordinators make those decisions. Pry, the DC, might want Stuewe on defense.

   I’m surprised to read these comments about Greene. He made some ridiculous catches. Maybe he’s not getting great separation, but he doesn’t need it. I’d be surprised if he doesn’t have a great year with a QB that will give him a chance.

   I would list Ayden Greene as a journeyman at this point in his college career. Nothing special about his skill sit stands out.

      If he played for ole miss or Indiana, you wouldn’t say that. He is tough, not afraid to go after the ball in traffic. He is fast and can jump out of the gym. We are lucky he stayed. Playing for a team with an improved passing game will allow him to show his skills

   Separation, Separation, Separation - Give your QB a clear target. What are the elements - speed, quickness, Strength, Size, Ball Skills, Route running. Then, catch the ball. Eddie Royal - Speed, Quickness, Stephen Gosnell - Routes, catch the ball, Andre Davis - Speed, Josh Morgan - size, Isaiah Ford - ball skills. I feel like I haven't seen our current group. Thanks for the summary.

   I'm not sold on Ayden Greene. He doesn't have great size or production. The problem is separation mostly. Granted, Drones was not a good passer but in observing him, he rarely was able to open any distance between and him and the coverage. I'm rooting for him to succeed but I hope that faster or bigger guys can show some success.
