   I have been rooting for VT basketball about 65 year. It has to be one of the most forlorn endeavors one can endure.

   I’d didn’t know you and my Dad shared a birthday. He was 80 yesterday and his present was tickets to the game and an overnight stay in Bburg and breakfast today. He’s class of 1969. The one thing that ticks me off the most is there are 80 yr old loyal fans of teams across the country who’ve seen multiple national titles for their favorite teams. My dad has never once wavered and goes to every home FB game about 1/2 of the home bball games and softball when he can. I was ANGRY as I am after losses like that BUT I was at the same time sad for his experience on his birthday but still grateful to have him around at 80. Hoping against hope he gets to see a Natty before he’s gone ?

   If we knew everything to which you TSL guys are subjected, our hair would curl and fall out. Not to be taken personal. Enjoyed your article for its whimsy and frustration. Poster need to know CMY's demeanor and narrative can be, uh, different from his presser. He doesn't throw players under the bus. Im sure practice will, in his frank and humorous manner, get to brass tacks for the breakdown last night. CMY and staff does want the team to think through end game (and clock) situations that they probably address in practice. Keep up the good work. Please. ;)

    Sorry about that CC, check out VT's football record since 1992 on my bday, 9/3, it's probably the best statistic in VT sports...8-0 including wins against FSU and WVU. I don't know ATS but I think it's the same because every Hokie I know bets on VT if the game is on 9/3 fyi
