Maryland And D.C. Players
At a Virginia Tech practice a couple of years ago, I had a conversation with the father of a then-Hokie football player. He was originally from the West Coast but said he moved so he could get his kids into the best coaching, player development and stability situation as possible. He considered Virginia, but he thought the player development in this state wasn’t as good as it is in Maryland, so that’s where he went.
