   Announcer kept telling audience our D needed to close gap on our DE. That’s where we ran and to roll Drones out more to relieve the pressure. Didn’t happen.

   It’s not about what Vandy did Coach Pry. It is what we failed to do. Stay in gaps, fire off ball and wrap up tackles on the D. And the DBs NEVER turn and locate the ball. Seems that if the pass isn’t in front of them, they get beat. On O, yep, injuries hurt but what hurt more was lack of misdirection plays, not intentionally moving the pocket, not using short slants and the receivers continuing to stay covered up. They do not understand how to gain separation. This was a complete debacle in all phases of the game. Vandy played well for sure. But they do not have better players. Their players were more disciplined and had better coaching and better game plans.
