I’m so sorry to say but Pry is not the man.. Fuente was a good game coach but awful recriuter, Pry is a much better recruiter, but a awful game coach. The sad part for the program is that it’ll take another 2-3 years minimum to put it right.

I have supported Va Tech football, both financially and through attending most home games, a large number of away games since graduating in 1963, and that is a long time. The third quarter of last night's Vandy game was the worst played (both offense and defense) and worst coached since then. Where has the tough-nosed, hard fought, football Va Tech has been known for gone? If this performance were in the business world, the management team from the very top to the bottom would be long gone. Now, the Athletic Department wants millions more from the school to remain competitive. Hell, you have to become competitive in order to remain competitive. I no longer feel the need to support this endeavor and that is not a good feeling

great article. I like everything about Pry, except for his ability as a head coach. IMO, him hiring two inexperienced coordinators when he himself was new to role, will be his downfall. I think it will also be our ADs exit as he has swung and missed twice on the cash cow of the department.
