Virginia Tech has a ton of new players on both sides of the ball between numerous transfer portal additions and the usual haul of true freshmen. Tech made it a point to recruit experienced veterans through the portal, which means that not many true freshmen have a legit chance to get on the field this year, though a few will find a way.
