It’s been a mantra for Brent Pry that Virginia Tech is an improving team, and this spring he presented the latest points in his case to the public. Coach-speak can bring out the cynic in anybody, and I think that’s a reasonable reaction to positive messaging coming from a struggling program. That said, I think some of his statements are spot-on, and the ones I find iffier deserve some attention.
