Matt Moore and Philip Montgomery spent an hour and a half on the phone talking shop earlier this month when the latter was vying for Virginia Tech’s offensive coordinator position. Brent Pry wanted to make sure the potential play-caller was on the same page with the offensive line coach who joined the program in December.
