Honestly CBP’s record in close games can be as much as his clock management as it can also be about our coordinators being out-coached and our players being out-conditioned. What I like, especially about Montgomery, is his experience. I’m really hoping to see a team make good second half adjustments and have the conditioning to move the needle in these close games.

Would you say he has as good a reputation for developing QB's Fuente? Potential for him and Mines to recruit QB and WR wanting to stay together?

  From a public perspective? Probably not as good as Fuente. Fuente came to Tech riding a high. Montgomery peaked a while ago with RGIII, and after that there's a decline in the performance of his college QBs. I like the UFL results, but I'm guessing nobody knows about that.

I love it. Spread the field out and make them defend every blade of grass...it's simple but makes sense.
