As always Andy, thanks so much for another great article. You categorized the season as quite underwhelming. I would go further to say it was overwhelmingly pathetic versus the preseason babble about how great we would be. Pry and Co. will need to pull the proverbial rabbit out of the hat to have any chance of a winning season next year. So sad for all HOKIE fans.

I blame Andy Bitter personally for this year's disappointing results, my reason being that this is the Internet and that's just how things work around here these days -- we randomly assign blame to people who likely have little to do with the problem.

Predictions are tougher now with so much portal movement. I doubt many predicted Vandy to beat Bama either, making the VT loss a little easier to understand.

It set the coaching tone - they did a terrible job of getting them ready and also coming up with a defense game plan. will be interesting to see how we handle Pavia next year in Lane.

1 and 4 were the killers. I agreed with both at the beginning of the season. It is on Drones and the coaches for not improving and meeting those expectations. They were very reasonable based on the previous season. Unfortunately that is becoming the Hokie way. Underachieving and not meeting expectations. Very frustrating to be a fan.
