re: Ayden Greene - i had the privilege of standing next to AG's Mom and two other relatives during 'the walk' prior to the win over the gt honeybees. they were so excited to be in the 'Burg again - they come to every home game - and see AG play. i asked them how they felt about being Hokies from out of state. they replied that prior to AG getting the scholarship and chance to play at Virginia Tech they were raised as big-orange volunteers. but AG 'loves it at Virginia Tech,' and they "have sold all their orange and ut outfits and gear." they're "fully Hokies! now." they added other complements about VT, coaching and game day experiences. sounded like very 'satisfied customers.' i look forward to seeing AG continue to grow as a receiver, teammate, and Hokie, improving into one of the best slot receivers (and wideouts) VT football has had. his size and quickness reminds me of the San Diego Charger's (and Dallas cowpokes') Lance Alworth. If he can have that kind of production, clutch sideline catches, and games for us we will certainly benefit, big time! go Hokies! '25! .

There are things internally that we have to fix as players, we’ve got to bring each other together and everything. This comment is concerning - more so than talent, scheme or execution, if the locker room is lost, then we have an uphill climb.

Probably not lost, but some cleaning up is needed.

Nice article David to focus on some season ending positivity… the glass may be far from full but it’s not entirely empty either!

Interesting comments from Lovett. Can see him already growing into a team leader.

I sure hope Lovett is correct about the talent on the team and next year’s mindset. There are going to be so many new faces that it seems difficult to build “brotherhood” in the new college football era, but he is correct - talent isn’t enough to win games.

I've seen it before over the years where more lower regarded Hokie teams overachieve and have better seasons than more highly regarded teams. Hope that's the case next year.

I think Greene has an opportunity to be a good receiver, although he lacks top end speed. He kinda reminds me of Danny Coale's skill set, except he doesn't have the hands and will have more dropped passes.

I'd like to see the stat on how many dropped passes Greene had this year. I'm guessing 8 at minimum. He is very athletic but he needs to catch the ball.

Yeah, UGA needed receivers this year. Their portal haul disappointed this year.

Kirby needs to save his money for a new visor.

I'm glad crybaby Kirby lost in the Sugar Bowl. He's such a whiner.
