It got really exciting when Virginia Tech blocked that field goal to go up 7-0 against the Clemson Tigers in the second quarter. The defense was playing well, special teams had scored and though the offense didn’t exactly get off to a strong start, the window was there to take a decent lead into halftime. Clemson seemed ripe for the upset if the offense could just figure a few things out.
