The difference was that VT knew how to get into the end zone when they werer given the opportunity.

One correction. It's a 4 game win streak. I still do not (and will never) accept that Miami game as a loss.

Agreed! The ACC brass threw the game for Miami because they wanted a playoff team.

You can measure progress by how good your bad days are.

I thought that the team showed resolve and composure. I'm okay with that. They did t have the fire they showed on the Miami game or the panache they showed in (most of) the BC game, but they sucked it up and played 4 quarters of football and did what they had to do to win the game. They showed a lot of what a previous coach might have called "GRIT".

Happy for the W. But what a sleeper. Defense was good. Offense was pathetic, and not sure what happened to Bowen Oh well, take the dub and get ready for next week.

It's not like they were some cellar dwelling FCS team... this was an ACC team that beat us the last FOUR times they came to Lane. It feels GREAT to be able to play poorly and still win by 15!

+2. A three game winning streak is something to celebrate. Especially within the conference.

Andy I've been trying to figure out when the last time the passing, rushing, receiving scores in the same game has happened for VT. From a single player obviously. Help!

Potential candidates: Malachi Thomas, Logan Thomas, Eddie Royal...maybe Tyrod??

Andre Davis had a rush, reception, and punt return in one game vs wBG...that's the last 3 different ways I can remember...

First time it’s happened. I believe David will have more in his notebook a little later.

Thanks Andy! The only other time I remember seeing it was CJ Spiller for Clemson.

Agreed on all fronts. Not pretty but some of our ACC Championship teams had similar type wins. Hopefully Chaplin and Tuten are not out too long.
