Looking forward to a different offense rather then dribble up the floor pass to right, run to the wing, pass around the arc then pass to Kitley or take a bad shot. Don’t get me wrong I live Liz, but the rest of the previous scheme got predictable

It could be a rough year, but I like this coach. Her year three should see her recruiting match up better with her up tempo style. Rooting for these ladies this year.

Gonna be a great, fun season. Loved coach Duffy from the start. My money is on this team doing really well. GO HOKIES!!!!!!!!!

I liked how Duffy hesitated to call out a favorite. She wants everyone to be "one for all and all for one."

Girls are motivated!!! No Prima Donna’s. No coaches favorites (that we know of). Team effort and energy could win a lot of close games; as well as a bench strength? Looking forward to the season.

Carleigh may want to frame that picture. Whatever happened to that Iowa player?

I have been so impressed with everything I have seen so far from the new coaching staff. I know that it is going to be challenging but I look forward to watching them play. Informative article David.

HOKIE2VT These young ladies are coming together with the leadership of the coaches. Great to hear how they pulled together to be TRUE Hokies. Can't wait for first home game.

I agree. Some will say, with some sarcasm, things about "winning the offseason", but I like Duffy's approach. She seems to have really focused on team chemistry, which I think had some problems the last couple years, with "Kenny's Kids" and everyone else.

Really looking forward to seeing this team play in a more balanced manner. Different leading scorers game by game. The talent is there
