It’s “wagons west” for the Hokies as they make their way out for a convenient Atlantic Coast Conference game against Stanford. In some ways, Stanford is a major match-up issue for the Hokies, with a running game that buys wholesale all the things Tech has problems defending, and a fast, physical defensive front that likes moving around. That offense has a limited passing game (and maybe more limited than shown, depending on who starts) and the secondary has been carved up. Last week’s game against Clemson looks like it’ll be the most informative one for us, so we’ll focus there.
