Boy, winning sure is a whole lot more fun than losing. But what’s even more fun than that? Arguing with strangers on the internet about officiating calls, of course!
This week is going to be a bit light on the Marshall coverage, just because of how the CW/ACCN broadcast the game, but we can circle back a bit later after the full game is released, so stay tuned.
In the meantime, let’s take a look at last week’s You Make the Call play from the final game of the Vanderbilt game.
I don’t see anyone touching the ball on the last play. It was too high and already past the WR, and thus not called. - Hokies93
I voted for targeting as I felt the DB wasn’t playing the ball and was hitting a defenseless receiver. I don’t know if that falls under the category of targeting but I believe there’s a rule (maybe NFL only?) about leaving your feet and hitting a defenseless player. - Bulge76
