As Andy Bitter pointed out earlier this week, Virginia Tech ranks first in the country in returning production per the SP+ metrics. Much of that production is concentrated on the offensive side of the ball, with the only starter lost being Dae’Quan Wright and his 28 catches for 366 yards. But when you factor in the return of Ali Jennings, who was injured last year, that more than makes up for Wright’s departure.
