I think Summeil took Micheaux’s starting position due to inconsistent production. Summeil gives VT more speed, movement, etc. Strack has gotten more time and pushed Micheaux down even further.

I've asked the same question about C. Baker who contributed so much early on. Her playing time has collapsed now. But it is no time to question Coach! He has the team rolling now!!! Jeez, I'm already looking forward to the ton of talent next year!

I think her time will be next year. She early on contributed with outside shooting which it would appear seems to be recently improved with Eck, Wenzel, Summiel and King contributing from that distance and all being more experienced on defense. Strack arrived accomplished on defense (after the first few games with a lot of ?fouls called), turns game momentum around with her rebounds on both ends, is learning the 4 spot, and Coach and Georgia have said she takes over practice at the 5 when Liz isn't in.

LSU, Duke, and Iowa =physical teams. I want to see the team that just beat NCS show ip like that against Duke, whos one of the more physical teams in the country. Show some toughness, get pissed off, and dominate "Puke"

The Lady Hokies are a joy to watch. Great to see the role players step up in the past few games. Kitley and Amoore are stars but we need everyone to contribute to beat the best teams.

Why does Micheaux not get any minutes now? Is she hurt?

As I wrote ahead of NC State: "Brooks has gotten comfortable with a seven-woman rotation, and it’s worked. Minnesota transfer Rose Micheaux hasn’t appeared in the last three [edit: now four] games after starting 16 of the first 17, but her contributions were inconsistent when she was on the floor. It’s not out of the question that she returns for her final year and helps the Hokies next season, though, and Brooks has praised her work ethic and attitude despite the ups and downs." Similar thing to Owusu last year. VT found a rotation without her. Brooks has to play the players that will give him the best chance to win.

complete lack of positive contributions. she's not hurt. I read that she averaged 14 points per game last year. This doesn't seem possible.

She is not good enough and never found a niche role but her attitude is still great. Kudos to her

I seem to recall one game where Kitley had to sit due to foul trouble, and so Rose played the five for significant minutes and played well on defense and offense. I thought she scored something like 12 points in that game.

My understanding subject to correction if I heard wrong, is she played primarily in the low post previously. With Liz, VT needs her at 4 spot and while she's had some good games overall some of the other players have given us more at that position both defensively keeping up with athletic forwards, and offensively with greater comfort in the high post/away from or facing up to the basket. She's athletic and seems to be bought in on the bench, cheering the team on and not sulking for lack of playing time. I hope she keeps grinding and comes back next year
