   so we're in the clubhouse with 2 of the 3 DTs (so far) we focused on, the top LB on our list, and an OL out of the portal?? OUTSTANDING!!!

   This staff is very good at roster management. We have recruited well and have the right players in the mix via the portal. Let’s see.

   DT is looking good from what i can tell. None of the OL offers are really from our region though. We're lucky to pickup a commitment already. In regards to the RB situation, even if Tuten comes back, i think we could use an upgrade over Malachi Thomas. He hasn't been the same this year. Defer to coaches on Brown or Pettaway. But Brown seems like a natural fit.

   I couldn't help but notice how many "connections" the current staff has in these portal players. Thats gotta be a plus. And an apparently good culture/place to play, etc. Good stuff cookin

      I think that's going to be the key in the future. Another reason why focusing on the fabled six hour radius makes a ton of sense. Even if we don't get these kids out of HS, keep the ties and be there to have a conversation if their initial decision doesn't pan out.

   Appreciate the info CC. Exciting stuff. I am fine with taking Brown or Pettaway or both...I think the Coney hype is just that IMO. Those 2 guys were ranked well ahead of Coney and they possess speed and talent.

    Do you think we are good to go at either CB if D Strong goes to the NFL or S? It seems like we would want to pull one or both for those positions. All I want for Christmas is 2 more DTs!
