The Wolfpack is on a tear, going from a team in turmoil to a win streak over Clemson, Miami, and Wake Forest. They’ve been building early leads and then hanging on for safe wins. By my eye, they’re a poor man’s Louisville, and I think they’ll be a tough out for the Hokies this Saturday.

Nice summary - I share your anxiety about this game. VT is going to have play a clean game (no turnovers, no brain-dead PI or PF penalties) and stick to the game plan. If the offense can stay on-schedule, have manageable third-downs that they convert, and sustain drives I think the Hokies can win - otherwise look out. I hope gunslinger Armstrong shows up and tries to show he can fit the ball in anywhere, not the guy that played at WFU.
