Great article and so much fun to read!
Amazing work by the coaches and execution by the players. I am so happy their hard work is paying off, especially Coach Bowen who was smart enough to go get Kyron. Guess he has an eye for talent? Guess he knows how to coach?
So thrilled for Coach Price and Coach Crook with their work with the “big boys”.Y’all are AWESOME!!!! Whoop whoop?? Coach Holt the special teams are special now. . Strength and conditioning staff has to be awfully proud too?
Coach Marve you are all about the details and it’s showing. Thank you for your excellent coaching and teaching??
So very happy the team put it out there and they got a W and got to watch the young guys play. Guess VT is lucky to have this coaching staff???
Coach Pry’s face at the end of the game said it all! (Michael Vick please visit often! )
H-O-K-I-E-S. Hokies??

Thursday night; Maroon uniforms; a confident team; a packed stadium. Sure felt like 1999. I half expected to see Corey Moore himself out there.
Gentlemen: We have a football team!

Thanks David! It just dawned on me that last year we were saying this is the worst we have been at rushing or passing or whatever since the late 80's. Now the script has been flipped (at least for this game). The turn around has been dramatic (and a LOT of fun).

Great seeing MV and CBF on the sideline. Wish more great players would come back for games.

Ken Oxendine was there

Hey band wagoners, do you need a hand getting back aboard?

Great writeup as usual David. The second pic with APR and the last pic with the safety could be "Terror Dome" posters.

And APR's eyes were laser focused on the ball, not Shrader. What a pic!

Norell looked pretty scary and focused in his two pictures

Yes, the Pollard photo is bad-ass! "Get out of my way...!"

Specialty Stat no. 13 does not make sense as currently composed.

What a great photo of Norell Pollard breaking through the line. Love the look in his eye! The hunter bearing down on the hunted.

Everybody loves a winner! Nothing like a win to 'stuff' all the negativity! Go-Tech-Go!

It was fun to watch - as it increasingly has been lately. Knew there were some good talents on this team (though it took some time for things to click, just as it's taken some time to get to know all the new players). Hope to still see Ali Jennings get back on the field (wish Nick Gallo could get there too, but sounds like not).

I think Jennings will sit out and try to return next year
