Knowing who was going to play which linebacker position under Bud Foster was pretty easy. Only a small handful of guys through the years played multiple roles during their careers, the most notable of which was Bruce Taylor. Like Taylor, Dax Hollifield also played both backer and mike during his career, though that was more out of necessity.
