Blacksburg is a special place even amongst college towns. It is a great experience for anyone to spend at least 4 years there and a lifetime returning. In today's digital world it is more true than ever.

Reminds me of an old Eugene Chung story. I was talking to my good Pulaski County friend and car dealer Bob Hudson. His son Robbie played with Eugene at Tech and Eugene had come over one weekend and Bob said he had taken them over to his lake house. He asked Eugene if he wanted to be pulled behind his boat on the inner tube and Eugene said he was afraid he bust it. Bob laughed because it was like a tractor trailer tube, so he assured Eugene there was no way he'd ever bust it, so Eugene got on it. Well, sure enough, Eugene did indeed bust it.
