Virginia Tech picked up an important transfer portal piece over the weekend when Clayton Frady made his verbal commitment. The two-year starter for Gardner-Webb has two years of eligibility remaining and he has experience starting at two different positions. His versatility fills a major need for the Hokies and his presence will give new offensive line coach Ron Crook more options.
