Sean I trying to do too much and we have essentially had little support from Maddox. I thought he would have tremendous season but noticed he gained no weight and struggles taking ball to the hoop. Catoor was one guy we could not lose with Rice out. I think the next 3 games will determine alot about our season

Note that some of the increase in playing time for some of the fowards is foul trouble. Kidd got in early and often foul trouble against Clemson. It did surprise me how much Camden played. His role seemed odd. even Collins was not ready, Camden seemed LESS READY to play that role. Some of the foul trouble is not because they are guarding wrong people (Mutts). SOme of the problem is just poor, sloppy play within the role they are playing (Mutts)

Item 2 - 2024 Football recruiting - one player mentioned that I would like that was mentioned is TE Luca Puccinelli, Benedictine, Richmond: The 6-7 tight end. I'd love to see a pass to the corner of the end zone to this guy. What many of these guys will need to see is improvement by Tech. Beat OD, Rutgers & Marshal and hold it close with Perdue (one score) or win. That will perk the interest. That takes care of September. If Tech looks mediocre in those first 4 games, it will be hard to pull in most of these guys, unless they are true Tech fans and they believe in the future of the team and the potential in 2026. GO HOKIES!!! - Hunter get well, Owusu get Well, everybody stay healthy.

We'll be OK with Perdue. All they have are a bunch of thighs and breasts. All the good wings are in Buffalo. All kidding aside, you have to be wary of the private schools in Richmond. They have a few NFL wannabes playing with kids that wouldn't be on the HS JV teams in Texas and Georgia. Who pays for the "scholarships" for a NFL wannabe to attend a $35K year school? That's the HS NIL question.

Nigel Williams- former Hokie DL- is an assistant coach at Benedictine. Pry will get an accurate evaluation.

Since Cattoor got hurt, he also looks tired. He isn't the most athletic guy on the court nor is he the biggest. I think teams are figuring out if they overplay him and play physical, he will wear down and make mistakes. Combine that with the extra workload because of Cattoor's injury and it makes sense why he has struggled recently.

      Pedulla being he.

When the season began, many were talking about how to replace Aluma. I think now we are realizing just how much we miss Storm Murphy, who did a good job of setting up the shooters, including Pedulla.

I also wonder with Mutts playing the 3 if that means the offense running through him less. Don't know if that's true or not, but they seem to play better when he is able to pass from the paint.

Losing Catoor, we are now trying to run an offense with 3 bigs most of the time instead of two. The offense is different because of the personnel, but also because everything has been compacted. This is also making it more difficult for Pedulla to drive as well.

Four losses by a total of, what, twelve points? When Cattoor comes back, we will be fine. I hope Rice plays soon.
