1) Mike Young plays slow tempo on purpose because he has to (KP adjusted tempo #334) with the athletes we recruit. Villanova actually plays slower (#353 which is very rare for a top team), but Jay Wright does it by choice and not because of the athletes he brings in as most are top-100 kids who can play any style. I believe CMY's slow tempo style makes it even more challenging to consistently bring in top-100 style athletes who want to play a faster tempo like the NBA does as they prepare for the next level.
