Admittedly, Christchurch (Va.) three-star wide receiver DJ Sims didn’t grow up a Virginia Tech fan. He paid attention a little more during his eighth and ninth grade years, but before then, the Richmond native was more a fan of Virginia Commonwealth basketball.
