When I saw the surprise signing of Marco Lee, my first thought was Virginia Tech might be looking at him as an H-type given how many RBs were on the roster, while H-backs were more uncertain. I thought this without knowing anything other than his weight and that he was a described as a “power runner,” so it wasn’t exactly an informed opinion. When Keene declared for the draft, I’d be lying if I didn’t feel a touch prescient, though having watched him play some, I’m now thinking the easy answer is the best answer, and Lee will be leaned on as a grinder.
