In February, McDonogh (Md.) 2021 linebacker Greg Penn made his first visit to Virginia Tech for a junior day. That trip made Penn interested enough that he was back in Blacksburg Saturday for the Hokies’ spring game, and he left that trip with an offer.
Penn now has five offers, also from Rutgers, Maryland, Temple and Florida. He has more visits coming and a strong connection at one school that could play a big part in his decision. Any moves Penn makes, however, will be based in large part on how schools fit his list of desired criteria.
