During his freshman season, Maury (Va.) 2020 athlete Keandre Lambert tried playing on both sides of the ball. He played wide receiver on offense and in the secondary on defense.

In the second game of that season, Lambert (6-2, 180) broke his collarbone. The injury limited his reach, which hurt his ability as a receiver.  He played cornerback and free safety when he returned later that season, as well as last season, but offense kept calling.
