That was a tough game to watch on Saturday. Virginia Tech continued to make mistake after mistake from the start to end of the game. They actually looked like a team that just watched North Carolina lose Thursday night, and expected their game to be in the bag. Even when playing at home in Lane Stadium, this team still has to learn how to bring energy and focus every single game. A team like Georgia Tech won’t just lie down like some small directional school. They are led by head coach Paul Johnson, who coaches his players like a drill sergeant. Therefore, there should have been no surprise the Yellow Jackets would come to Blacksburg well-prepared and determined to win. That was apparent the minute the game kicked off.
