In-state recruiting is very important to Virginia Tech, and there is no area more important than Tidewater.  Within Tidewater, there is no school more important than Bishop Sullivan Catholic High School.  Virginia Tech made important progress at Bishop Sullivan on Wednesday when the Hokies secured a commitment from Tayvion Land.
