Southampton (Courtland, VA) junior Tyran Hunt has excellent size at 6'6", 270 pounds, and he has been productive, earning second-team all-Conference 25 honors at defensive line as a sophomore and first-team all-Conference 25 honors on both sides of the line this past season as a junior.
Hunt's potential has drawn the attention of major FBS schools, most notably NC State, Old Dominion, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest, all of which have offered the promising prospect a scholarship. UVA is the latest to offer, coming through this past Saturday while Hunt was in Charlottesville for a Junior Day recruiting event.
