Ken Ladler figured Virginia Tech could be his son’s college choice when it came time to make a decision. What he didn't know, however, is how soon the decision would come.
“He feels great that he finally did it,” Ken said, referring to his son Khalil's college commitment. Khalil Ladler pledged to Virginia Tech this past Sunday while in Blacksburg on an official visit, his first ever experience at Tech. “I was shocked because I thought he was going to take all of his officials, but I knew all the while Virginia Tech was in his top two choices. I thought he would come down to Virginia Tech and Tennessee. He felt comfortable once he met with the coaches and players.”
