Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Miami, Michigan, Michigan State, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin are some of the major FBS schools that have offered Indian River (Chesapeake, VA) star Devon Hunter, a 6’1”, 205-pound junior.

Hunter, who has played several positions including safety, linebacker, quarterback and wide receiver, certainly qualifies as a versatile prospect. Most college coaches, though, are recruiting him as a free safety, where he has demonstrated the ability to cover as well as play a physical brand of football around the line of scrimmage.
