Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA) wide receiver Grant Holloway is a coveted football recruit. This spring and summer, he is showing why he is a top track and field prospect as well.
The 6’2”, 180-pound Holloway earned all-state honors in the 110-meter hurdles, 300 hurdles, the 200 meters, high jump and long jump events. The talented athlete was in Eugene, Oregon, last week for the USATF Junior Championships, where he finished 3rd in the long jump behind KeAndre Bates of the University of Florida and Nate Moore of the University of Oregon. He was the youngest competitor at the event.
