Virginia Tech has a ton of talented, versatile defensive backs. That makes projecting their positions somewhat difficult. However, that's one of the reasons Torrian Gray is such a successful coach. He recruits versatile players who can line up in multiple spots so he can always get his best 4-5 guys on the field.
This spring, Gray will have to replace starting safeties Detrick Bonner and Kyshoen Jarrett. Even though both guys could end up being drafted, I don’t believe that replacing them will be a huge issue.
