Coleman Fox grew up rooting for Virginia Tech, where his father, Rich, played football for head coach Frank Beamer from 1986-1989. Coleman’s mother graduated from Tech as well. So there is no question that October 2 - the day Virginia Tech came through and offered a scholarship to the Salem High School (VA) senior running back - was an exciting day for the Fox family.
