Phoebus (Hampton, VA) rolled for most of the 2013 season, losing only its season opener to DeMatha by four and then in the second round of the Division 4 playoffs to King’s Fork by three. The Phantoms, who won 10 games last season by an average margin of 32.3 points, are looking to compete for a state championship in 2014. Leading the way is senior defensive lineman Harry Lewis, who has embraced a leadership role on head coach Jeremy Blunt’s squad.

“I improved [this offseason] as being a leader and doing as much as possible to help my team and help me become a better player and a better person. Getting better is my main focus right now. We focus on Team Me. That’s our motto at Phoebus,” said Lewis, who has verbally committed to Virginia Tech.
