In the past, the most difficult part of recruiting for Virginia Tech in both football and basketball was getting prospects to visit, or to take multiple visits. You've heard Frank Beamer say it multiple times: "If we can get a guy on campus, we feel good about our chances," or something to that effect. The same thing applies to Virginia Tech basketball, and perhaps even moreso than football because Tech's hoops program doesn't enjoy the same prestige as their gridiron counterparts.
