Before he ever played a game on the high school level, 6’0” point guard Matt Coleman received scholarship offers from the University of Virginia and Old Dominion. If there was any added pressure to being a major college recruit, it didn’t show, as Coleman averaged 14 points and four assists while leading Maury (Norfolk, VA) to a 25-3 overall record as a freshman this past season.
