Recruiting is kind of slow this time of year. Coaches were allowed to begin calling recruits yesterday, which means the process is just starting to heat up. Prospects are beginning to take unofficial visits, and with camps coming up in June and July, we don't yet know all of the prospects who the Hokies will be pursuing this year.
Out-of-state prospects are particularly hard for us to uncover, as we aren't a national network, and all of our recruiting sources are within the state of Virginia. Today we'll focus on the top in-state recruits and discuss their recruitment. We'll be using the 247Sports rankings for this article, and recruits who don't hold an offer from the Hokies or who have committed elsewhere will not be mentioned.
