According to the BeamerBall.com Twitter account, six true freshmen are making a serious push for playing time in 2013. Though BeamerBall didn't note which players, most are obvious, and we can make some educated guesses on the others.
CB Brandon Facyson (#31, 6-2, 188): Facyson is listed in a tie with sophomore Donaldven Manning at field corner. My gut tells me that Facyson will win the starting job, but either way he's not redshirting. Facyson is definitely playing as a true freshman.
