Jaylen Bradshaw has wanted to go to Virginia Tech since he was in the 8th grade.  This past Sunday, Bradshaw, now a rising senior at Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA), was offered a full scholarship by head coach Frank Beamer following an excellent performance at Tech's one-day camp.  Wednesday night, the 6'1", 175-pound wide receiver prospect accepted the offer.

"I was talking to my mom about it.  I told her, 'I guess I'm ready to do it.'  I called [Oscar Smith head coach Rich] Morgan.  Coach Morgan told me to call Coach Stinespring.  I did and made it official," said Bradshaw, who took a walk to calm down after phoning Stinespring.
