We mentioned a couple of weeks back that if Virginia Tech were to choose to peruse the JUCO ranks for offensive linemen, this would be the year. However, how successful have the Hokies been with Junior College players in the past?
I went back through the TSL recruiting database and found all of Tech's JUCO recruits dating back to 1988. From 1988 through 2003, the Hokies signed 18 JUCO players (by my count, apologies if I missed one or two), and they have not signed a single JUCO recruit since that 2003 class.
