Alabama, Michigan, Oregon and Virginia Tech are among the many schools that have been represented at Benedictine (Richmond, VA) so far in this Spring Evaluation Period. The Cadets boast a talented rising senior class, but in terms of major FBS prospects Raymon Minor is the one getting the most attention. Minor, a 6'3", 220-pound linebacker/H-back prospect, claims close to 20 college scholarship offers including one from Virginia Tech, which was represented by Shane Beamer and Bud Foster at Benedictine on Tuesday of this week.
The presence of Coach Beamer and Coach Foster is the latest indicator of Virginia Tech's interest level in the central Virginia standout. Minor also felt wanted when he traveled to Blacksburg for the Spring Game.
