Lake Taylor (Norfolk, VA) star rising senior Jalyn Holmes has star potential at tight end and defensive end, but he showed off his defensive talents during the Nike Football Training Camp in Ashburn (VA) this past Sunday. The 6'5", 240-pound outperformed a talented group of defensive linemen to capture position MVP honors, and he also came away with an invite to Nike's The Opening, an invite only combine featuring 150 of the top players in the country (primarily rising senior prospects).
"It's a good, special day," Holmes said at the camp's conclusion.
